SAW Pilates began with my personal story — but it has grown into something much bigger than me.
It is now a community shaped by the wisdom, passion, and life experiences of many incredible instructors who each bring their own strengths, perspectives, and “whys” into the room.
Fifteen years ago, after my second son was born, I felt disconnected from myself in a way I didn’t expect. Postpartum shifted everything — my body, my energy, my confidence. Pilates became the place I rebuilt all of it. It helped me reconnect with my core, recover safely, and feel like me again. It supported me through seasons of exhaustion, motherhood, and—later—through the challenges of living with a connective tissue disease.
And now, at 50, I love how strong and grounded Pilates makes me feel.
Daily movement, intentional exercise, and purposeful strength training help me age with clarity, stability, and confidence.
That’s the foundation of SAW Pilates:

Today, SAW is home to a group of highly trained, deeply passionate instructors with over 100 collective years of experience teaching Pilates, functional movement, strength training, and corrective exercise.
